We returned to school and everyone was collected by their homestay families before we all went to a local festival or 'Matsuri'. We climbed up the mountainside to a shrine where lots of activities were taking place.
We were given lots of free snacks and bought icream and senbi to eat.
We needed the energy for the children's Sumo Wrestling Competition!!
First the Amaji children showed us how it is done.
Then we all had a go. Finn versus Aaron.....
then Chloe took on Thomas (go girl power!!)
then Nathan versus Morgan....
then Riley versus Mr Coates (Riley won!!)...
and then........
Everyone won 100yen for taking part!
