At 9am we were taken to visit the Mayor of Ichikawa town.

He was very friendly and wanted to know all about our visit so far,

what we liked about Japan and what food we had tasted.

We gave him a present of English chocolates and tea.

 

He gave us each a framed picture of Himeji Castle and a green Ichikawa cap.

After refreshments we all headed back to Amaji school.
