On Monday 17th February, 10 children and 4 staff from Chopwell Primary will set off from Newcastle Airport to travel half way around the world to Japan to visit our link school Amaji Elementary in Hyogo-ken. While there we will experience life in a Japanese school and in return we will teach lessons to the Japanese children that would normally take place in Chopwell Primary.  We will also stay with Japanese families and see what life is like in a Japanese home. After our stay at Amaji we will travel by bullet train to Tokyo for 3 days of exciting sight seeing. There are so many unusual places to visit both old and new-from ancient temples to the brand new Tokyo Sky Tree.
Follow our daily progress on this blog page and see what amazing adventures the children of Chopwell Primary get up to!
